Back Cover Blurb for Isle of Hope

Can a wild girl gone good rebuild bridges with a good boy gone bad?

She’s the girlfriend serving up temptation.

He’s the pastor’s kid bent on serving God.

Till tragedy separates them for eight long years.

Now she’s a woman of faith, back to make amends to the father she defied, the boyfriend she deserted, and the best friend she betrayed.

But can a turning of tables—and hearts—lead the way back to “hope” for them all?

                                                                                 ~*~

Back Cover Blurb for A Light in the Window:

One Woman. Two Men.

One stirs her pulse, the other her faith.

But who will win her heart?

Marceline Murphy, a gentle beauty with a well-founded aversion to rogues, catches the eye of two of Boston’s most notorious. Patrick O’Connor and Sam O’Rourke are best friends with a bond like brothers … until they meet one woman neither can have.

Overseeing St. Mary’s Christmas play—A Light in the Window—Marcy wrestles with her attraction to both. But when disaster strikes, she’s destined to discover the play’s message firsthand. For although two men have professed their love, only one has responded to the light in the window.

  2. I have read all of Julie ' s books except her new western. She isn't afraid to show passion in her characters especially Patrick and his wife (her name flew out of my head). I love how realistic their relationship is. It isn't always perfect, but they still love each and stick together.

    1. WHOOPS ... posted my reply below instead of beneath your comment, Calvin, so repeating it here. Thanks for coming by! Isle of Hope was listed on Family Fiction magazine's "Top 15 Novels of 2015," so that may be where you heard about it? It's loosely based on my own dysfunctional relationship with my estranged father and how God taught me to heal it. I hope you get a chance to read it, my friend, so here's to a win!

      Hugs,
      Julie

  7. Isle of Hope deals with a second chance romance which I enjoy. A Light In The Window sounds like it will show how two people, much the same, can react and be very different. I like that they are books I can share with my daughter.
Thank you for participating in this giveaway. Stay safe and healthy.

    1. Hey, Patricia, may I ask how old your daughter is? The reason I ask is because my tagline is "Passion with a Purpose," which simply means there's a wee bit more romantic passion (and spiritual passion) than your typical Christian romance, but always according to God's precepts. The age group I would recommend for my books is ages 14-up because I deal a lot with purity and temptation, but again, always to teach God's precepts about both.

Hugs and GOOD LUCK in the contest!

  10. This book brought me to tears. I would love to share it with my book club.

  11. Aw, Sonnetta, thank you! That is if they were good tears and not that you hated it! ;) I assume you are speaking about Isle of Hope? Which means a lot to me because that book means a lot to me. As you know from my author note in the book, it is loosely biographical regarding my dysfunctional relationship with my estranged father and how God healed it.

Sonnetta, I would be honored to send complimentary e-books of Isle of Hope to your book club if you contact me directly via private e-mail message, okay?

And if you win this contest and have already read A Light in Window, too, I will be happy to send you another one of my indie e-books instead, so GOOD LUCK!!

    Hugs and more hugs,
    Julie

But if you love the cover, I hope you love the story inside even better, because it's a double romance loosely based on my own dysfunctional relationship with my estranged father.
