31 Days of Prayer: May God find us faithful

Today I write the final post for my 31 Days of Prayer series. I hope this series has been a blessing to you and your loved ones. I pray that God will manifest His love for you in awesome ways. My message for you today is simple and inspired by the song "Find Us Faithful" as performed by Steve Green. Please listen to the song here.

As you listen to the lyrics, you will discover one more reason why we should pray and that is to build a relationship with God and become devoted to Him to the point where when you die and the survivors who are your loved ones remember you and what you did during your life here on Earth, they will find you faithful. I hope they will uncover evidence after evidence of your undying devotion to God and they will be inspired to be faithful to God too.

In closing, here are the lyrics to the song "Find us Faithful" by Steve Green. Enjoy and God be with you!

Song: Find Us Faithful
Artist credit: Steve Green
Lyrics:

We're pilgrims on the journey
Of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness passed on through godly lives

CHORUS:
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone
And our children sift through all we've left behind
May the clues that they discover and the memories they uncover
Become the light that leads them to the road we each must find

REPEAT CHORUS

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

~*~
Dear God,

May all who embrace our legacy of prayer, faith and agape love, find us faithful.

In Jesus' Name I pray,

Amen.
