Thankful Thursday: When God brings it all together

It’s Thursday and I’m thankful for God working in the lives those who love Him to “bring it all together for good”!

"Well, what do you mean?" (I figure you may want to ask me that question).

I mean that God promises that ALL things work together for those who love the Lord! Romans 8:26-28 says (in The Message Bible),

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
*Please note that the use of the word "pregnant" in this text is not literal.

The Lord my God has been working in my life and those around me to bring the pain, hurt, sorrow, situations all together for our good. In the past months, I have been reminded of how God is in control and He can convert the most dire situation into rays of sunlight, He’s just that GOOD!

I will share details of what I mean in future Thankful Thursday posts on my blog but for now I exhort you to be encouraged and let the Lord fight your battles for you because in the end, God wins! So won’t you choose to be on the winning side?

What situation are you facing that you wish some good would come out of it? Take it to God in prayer and then trust Him to turn it around for you. He loves you with ALL his divine heart and He will NEVER leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Until next time, take care and God bless you!

Sincerely,

Alexis

  1. "He can convert the most dire situation into rays of sunlight." How precious, comforting, and true! And I so love that song! I have all of Natalie's albums.

    1. Amen to ALL that! :) I love Natalie Grant's music too! :) Have you heard of Amy Grant too? You know they have the same last name and are both Christian singers but they're not related. I think they'd make good friends with each other since they've got all that in common! :) Thanks for visiting my blog.
